LPC has been researching and publishing the Index & Trends Report for TLMI (Tag & Label Manufacturer’s Institute) for the past five years.
Released twice a year, and available to members only, the Index is a detailed look at the tag and label market and features statistics, projections, specific analysis and commentary from converters, suppliers and end-users.
There’s nothing else like it available to the industry and it represents a major benefit to TLMI members.
The latest edition has just been published and features new data that tracks historical and projected converter growth rates per end-use sector, also referred to as market verticals. The report contains the following information for the food, pharmaceutical, personal care, consumer durables/electronics, transportation/logistics, and retail sectors:
• Converter growth in 2013
• Converter projected growth in 2014
• Print process breakdown
• Material utilization breakdown (paper vs. film)
• Average job sizes
Frank Sablone, TLMI President, commented, “This is the first time TLMI has published this type of data per vertical market. Our members are increasingly requesting this information and the TLMI Board of Directors has prioritized dedicated the resources necessary to obtaining and publishing it. Collecting this data on an annual basis will allow us to publish indices for each major end-use sector and to track historical and future growth against major economic indices.”
If you’re a TLMI member, and your company allows you access, it’s definitely worth a close look.
